WHAT’S NEW
This update is notifying you of a new software release EDB Postgres™ Advanced Server 9.6.13.20. EDB Postgres Advanced Server 9.6 is built on the open source PostgreSQL 9.6, which introduces an impressive number of improvements that enable databases to scale up and scale out in more efficient ways. PostgreSQL 9.6 also includes new monitoring capabilities that offer more visibility into the internal operations of the system such as vacuum progress monitoring and exposure of low level wait states in pg_stat_statements.
Highlights of 9.6.13.20 release include:

- RM43047: Add support for synonym resolution to the type. [Support ticket #712701]
- RM43903: Fix ALTER USER MAPPING to treat obfuscated_password and password as same option. [Support ticket #847443]
- RM43923: Fix an issue with addition of timestamp and negative numbers. [Support ticket #853879]
- RM43915: Fix pg_dump/restore for VIEWs having DECODE expression by displaying implicit cast while deparsing DECODE expressions. [Support ticket #851791]
- RM41964: Preserve the shared dependencies on package in case of replace.
- RM41007: Quote nested sub-procedure name while deparsing it into a CREATE statement.
- RM41959: edbldr: Fix server while loading data into multiple table.
- RM41958: Qualify type name while deparsing package variable.
