Postgres Enterprise ManagerⓇ (PEM) 7.13
WHAT’S NEW
This update is notifying you of a new software release, Postgres Enterprise ManagerⓇ (PEM) 7.13 from EnterpriseDB. PEM is the only Postgres management tool to combine monitoring, alerting, and tuning of multiple Postgres clusters into a single GUI (graphical user interface).
Among the many features, release 7.13 includes the Core Usage report and the Schema Diff tool. The Core Usage report provides detailed information on the number of cores being used by any PEM managed servers, such as EDB Postgres Advanced Server, PostgreSQL or BART; see the screenshot below:
The Schema Diff tool can be used to compare schemas between tables, and identify differences; see the screenshot below:

WHAT’S NEW
This update is notifying you of a new software release, Postgres Enterprise ManagerⓇ (PEM) 7.13 from EnterpriseDB. PEM is the only Postgres management tool to combine monitoring, alerting, and tuning of multiple Postgres clusters into a single GUI (graphical user interface).

SNMP v3 support - enables PEM Agent to send SNMP Version 3 trap for secure communication by authenticating and encrypting data packets over the network for the alert. | Provides increased security by using SNMP version 3 while sending the alert traps. |
Schema Diff tool (Beta) - compares two schemas from two database tables and generates a script of differences. | Identifies and reduces risk of errors by identifying schema differences between test, stage and production environments. |
Logout inactive user sessions - automatically logs out user sessions after a certain time, configurable in the PEM Server configuration file (config_local.py) | Improves security by reducing unintended access to database servers. |

- Allow screen-readers to read labels & description of non-textable elements, to identify the alert errors, and to read relationship attributes in nested elements.
- Added labels and titles after parsing and validating all the web pages for accessibility.
- Updated wcDocker package which includes aria-label accessibility improvements.
- Improved the system configuration report.
- Added support for a multi-level partitioned table.
- Fixed a SQL Syntax error when PEM Agent queries tablespaces. [#570926]
- Fixed historical span issue with memory usage graph. [#665140, #898926]
- Allow administrator to setup a session timeout through the configuration file (config_local.py) (#739178)
- Fixed sorting of table chart data when rendering on custom dashboard. [#764647]
- Fixed the Swap Consumption alert template to reflect the actual swap consumption instead of total swap space. [#806008]
- Fixed in PEM RestAPI for server black out option. [#882589]
- Fixed for shared_buffers dashboard's historica24l span issue. [#894867]
- Fixed idle in transaction (aborted) state check in the probe code for session info. [#908442]
- Fixed storage pie chart issue to display the correct value. [#907753]
- Fixed save password functionality is not working when the server was registered by PEM worker. [#912948]
- Fixed "Alert Errors" alert template to count the errors for which alerts are enabled. [#903272]
- Fixed not able to see the agent status in the PEM Monitoring dashboard due to numeric overflow error. [#934778]
- Grant wizard is not able to handle multiple objects because all objects are passed as query string URL [#897419]
- Execute permissions on default "/tmp" due to compliance (PCI-DSS) (#927969)
- Provided the column picker toolbar button in SQL profiler trace window.
- Ensure that path file name should not disappear when changing ext from the dropdown in file explorer dialog.
- Fix syntax highlighting in code mirror for backslash and escape constant.
- Fixed an issue while editing char[] or character varying[] column from View/Edit data throwing an error.
- Fix an issue where clicking on an empty textbox like fill factor or comments, considers it as change and enabled the save button.
- Added tab navigation on close buttons for all the panels and create/properties dialog.
- Added support to view multilevel partitioned tables.
- Fix network disconnect issues while establishing the connection via SSH Tunnel and it is impossible to expand the Servers node.
- Fix server connection drops out issue in query tool.
- Fix column resizable issue in the file explorer dialog.
- Ensure that constraints, indexes, rules, triggers, and compound triggers should be created on partitions.
- Fix VPN network disconnect issue where it hangs on expanding the Servers node.
- Ensure that the Servers collection node should expand independently of server connections.
- Added more information to the 'Database connected/disconnected' message.
- Logout the session when no user activity of mouse move, click or keypress.
- Ensure that the error message should not be displayed if Tablespace is not selected while creating the index.
- Fix an issue where operator, access method and operator class is not visible for exclusion constraints.
- Fix an issue where setting STORAGE_DIR to empty should show all the volumes on Windows in server mode.
- Added tab navigation for tabs under explain panel in query tool.
- Updated the incorrect icon used for the cast node on refresh.
- Fix an issue where refreshing a package results in the change in the object completely.
- Fix an issue where select, insert and update scripts on tables throwing an error.
- Set proper focus on tab navigation for file manager dialog.
- Fixed an issue where Save Password control disappears after clicking on it while creating a server.
