WHAT’S NEWThis announcement is notifying you of a new software release of Failover Manager version 4.1. Failover Manager provides high availability by monitoring the members of a Postgres cluster, identifying and verifying database failures quickly, and can automatically promote a standby node and issues alerts.
Highlights of this release include:
This release includes fixes for the following issues:
- Can increase num_sync when synchronous standys are added. (Ticket #1092053)
- Unable to start agent with certain properties not present. (Ticket #1087362)
- Upgraded JDBC driver due to security vulnerabilities. (Ticket #1052383)
- ‘arping’ now called after acquiring VIP in non-sudo mode. (Ticket #1039625)
