EDB Migration Toolkit 53.0.0
WHAT’S NEW
This document provides information about what’s new and fixed customer defects in the EDB Migration Toolkit Ⓡ 53.0.0 product release. The tool migrates tables, views, procedures, functions, packages, and other database objects and data from SQL Server, Sybase, Oracle and MySQL to Postgres and EPAS.
Highlights of this release include:
- Migration Toolkit now supports PostgreSQL EPAS 12 as the source and the target database.
- Migration Toolkit supports the migration of the following Oracle features to EPAS 12:
- Compound triggers
- SYS_GUID
- MEDIAN
- LISTAGG
- CAST_MULTISET
- Interval Partition
- SELECT UNIQUE
The following customer defects are fixed in this release:
- MySQL 5.5 to EPAS 11 - end-of-copy marker corrupt issue. [MTK-170, Support Ticket #870755]
- MySQL 5.5 to EPAS 11- Invalid DataType LONGTEXT. [MTK-171, Support Ticket #870755]
- Oracle 10g to PPAS 9.5 - Issue with AUTHID while migrating the procedures. [MTK 172, Support Ticket #746013]
- SQL Server to PG 9.6 - Migration from SQL Server to PG 9.6 fails with error "Invalid object name information_schema.tables". [MTK 175, Support Ticket #866046]
- Oracle 11g to EPAS 12 - “-replaceNullChar" is not working for CLOB data types. [MTK-176, Support Ticket #862264]
- Need to update “-replaceNullChar” parameter related details in the document for more clarification. [MTK-177, Support Ticket #862264]
- Oracle 12c to EPAS 11 - Issue with "-useOraCase" option of MTK. [MTK-214, Support Ticket #917400]
- Documentation update for “-replaceNullChar”. [MTK-218, Support Ticket #903098]
