This announcement is notifying you of a new software release: EDB Postgres Backup and Recovery Tool 2.5.4 (BART)
EDB Backup and Recovery facilitates and automates complete hot physical backups of your PostgreSQL or EDB Postgres Advanced Server database. It is a centralized server that can connect to and backup multiple local or remote Postgres databases.
Defects corrected in this update:
- Fix a possible crash in bart-scanner
It is highly recommended that users running 2.5.2 and using incremental backups upgrade as soon as possible.

- EDB Backup and Recovery Tool v2.2 and above.
HOW TO GET THE SOFTWARE AND APPLY IT
This update is available as an RPM package that can be downloaded from the yum.enterprisedb.com repository.
Native packages are also available for Debian 9 and Ubuntu 18 hosts. To request the credentials required to access EnterpriseDB repositories, please visit https://www.enterprisedb.com/repository-access-request
