WHAT’S NEW
This update is notifying you of a new software release of pgBackRest 2.33. pgBackRest is an easy-to-use backup and restore tool that aims to enable your organization to implement disaster recovery solutions for PostgreSQL databases.

Multiple repository support |
Each repository can have separate retention configuration. Archive-push sends WAL archives files to all repositories. Select the destination repository for each backup. |
GCS support for repository storage |
Store your backup repository in GCS buckets. |
Archive-header-check checks the WAL headers against the PostgreSQL version and system identifier |
This new option verifies that the WAL archive is being copied to the correct stanza. |
Include recreated system databases during selective restore |
All required system databases will be included in selective restores, even if they have been recreated. |
Exclude content-length from Amazon S3 signed headers |
Resolves authentication failures when used in conjunction with some proxies that cannot handle signed content length headers. |
Log archive copy during backup |
Better insights into time consuming operations. |
Defects corrected in this update:
- Fix option warnings breaking async archive-get/archive-push.
- Fix memory leak in backup during archive copy.
- Fix stack overflow in cipher passphrase generation.
- Fix repo-ls / on S3 repositories.
