WHAT’S NEW
We are pleased to announce the release of EDB LiveCompare 2.5.0.
LiveCompare is a tool used for data comparison between databases. It can be used to ensure integrity of data between replicas, or confirm a successful data migration.
New Features
- Support for EDB Postgres Distributed 5.
Enhancements
- LiveCompare now holds a version agnostic list of reserved words for Oracle and Postgres, used to properly handle quoted identifiers.
Bug fixes
- Fixed an issue where the HandleIgnoredColumns method was failing in mixed comparison mode.
- Fixed an issue where the PrepareMask method was failing when using a custom collate.
- Fixed an issue where using the node_name caused LiveCompare to try the pglogical metadata for PGD 4 and 5.
