EDB Postgres Connectors (JDBC version 42.2.19.1)
WHAT’S NEW
This update is notifying you of a new software release of EDB Postgres Connectors (JDBC version 42.2.19.1), which supports EDB Postgres Advanced 9.6 or newer and requires Java 8 or newer.
Highlights of this release include:
- GSSAPI encryption
- Deprecated support for Java 1.6 and 1.7, previous version of EDB JDBC Connector v42.2.12.3 will continue to support Java 1.6 and 1.7 versions.
- Merge with Community JDBC Driver v42.2.19 (https://jdbc.postgresql.org/index.html)

This announcement is for EDB customers who have an Enterprise or Enterprise+ subscription and are either currently using or are interested in JDBC for connecting their Java application to the EDB Postgres Advanced database.
HOW TO GET THE SOFTWARE AND APPLY IT
This update is available from the EDB downloads website (https://www.enterprisedb.com/downloads/edb-connectors) or via Stack Builder Plus for Windows (64bit and 32bit).
This update is also available as an RPM package that can be downloaded from the http://yum.enterprisedb.com repository.
