WHAT’S NEW

This update is notifying you of a new software release of EDB Connectors (JDBC version 42.3.2.1), which supports EDB Postgres Advanced Server v10 - v14 and requires Java 8 or newer.

New Feature

Case#74134 | org.checkerframework.* was previously packaged in the EDB JDBC jar file; causing conflicts with other applications utilizing org.checkerfamework.* with different versions.  New feature is packaging the checker framework under a custom namespace in the connector using the shade plugin.

New Feature

JMS based API to interact with DBMS_AQ package seamlessly. This API has been made part of edb-jdbc code under com.edb.jms and com.edb.aq packages.

Enhancement

New property oidTimestamp used to change default behavior of driver when using setTimeStamp method for preparedStatement.  If property oidTimestamp  it is set to true, sets the oid to Oid.TIMESTAMP, otherwise uses default behavior.

Case#75812 | Issue: Change in date format nls_date_format=’YYYY/MM/DD’ in EDBPLUS gives error.

This update is available from the EDB downloads website https://www.enterprisedb.com/downloads/edb-connectors or via Stack Builder Plus for Windows (64bit and 32bit).

This update is also available as an RPM package that can be downloaded from the http://yum.enterprisedb.com repository.
