WHAT’S NEW

We are pleased to announce the release of EDB Postgres Enterprise Manager (PEM) 9.3.0.

Combining management and monitoring in a single interface, Postgres Enterprise Manager provides all the tools you need to keep your databases running smoothly. It continuously monitors the health of databases and servers, providing real-time graphical dashboards and automatically raising alerts when issues are detected. The integrated query profiling, performance, and log analysis tools make it easy to pinpoint and fix performance bottlenecks. Whatever the task, EDB has valuable insights into your entire Postgres estate right at your fingertips with Postgres Enterprise Manager.

Notable improvements for this release:

Improvements

  • Added the functionality to delete all the existing alerts while using the copy alert feature.
  • Added PostgreSQL and EPAS 16 Beta support as a backend database server and monitoring server.
  • Added support to customize the default email templates.
  • Added support to download the alert history report for agents and servers from the reports tab.
  • Added options to reuse the existing agent SSL certificates and key files while configuring the PEM server.

Bug Fixes

  • Added the functionality to add/view ignore mount points in the agent REST API.
  • Added the hostaddr body parameter to the server REST API.
  • Fixed an issue by removing the newline character in the alert details from the payload of Webhook.
