This update is notifying you about the following additions to the supported platforms for the EDB software portfolio:

Rocky Linux

AlmaLinux 

EDB software is now supported on Rocky Linux 8 and AlmaLinux 8.  This will help EDB customers using CentOS 8 transition to another supported open source operating system.  These platforms will continue to be supported while they maintain 1:1 binary compatibility with Red Hat Enterprise Linux.

EDB software is now supported on RHEL 8 for IBM Power 8, 9 and 10 Systems

OpenShift 4.6+ on IBM Power

Cloud Native PostgreSQL is now supported on Red Hat OpenShift for IBM Power 8, 9, and 10 Systems.

 

RHEL8 on z/Linux

EDB software is now supported on RHEL 8 for IBM z/Linux and LinuxONE. Contact IBM for more information.

 

OpenShift 4.6+ on IBM z/Linux

Cloud Native PostgreSQL is now supported on Red Hat OpenShift for IBM z/Linux and LinuxONE. Contact IBM for information.

CentOS 8 

EDB software is no longer supported on CentOS 8 because CentOS 8 has reached End of Life (EOL) on December 31, 2021 [1]. We strongly urge our customers to migrate to another EDB supported platform [2].

To request the credentials required to access EDB repositories, please visit https://www.enterprisedb.com/repository-access-request.

Cloud Native PostgreSQL for OpenShift 4.6+ on IBM Power can be installed through the Red Hat provided operator catalog.
