This is an important notice regarding EDB’s upcoming end of support for PostgreSQL, EDB Postgres distributions, and ecosystem tools on Debian 10 and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 7 and RHEL 7 derived distributions. Please be advised that EDB support for platforms ceases concurrently with their end of life, as scheduled by the platform vendor or project maintainers.

Debian 10 |
Debian 10 LTS maintainers will end support after June 30th, 2024. EDB currently supports Debian 11 and plans to add support for Debian 12 on June 30th, 2024. A separate announcement with more details about Debian 12 support will be sent out. |

Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7, Oracle Linux 7, CentOS 7 |
Red Hat will end Maintenance Support for RHEL 7 after June 30th, 2024. EDB currently supports RHEL 8 and RHEL 9 and RHEL-derived distributions Oracle/Rocky Linux/AlmaLinux 8 and 9, allowing customers to upgrade to a supported option. |
EDB software will no longer support the aforementioned operating systems and architectures. Please upgrade or migrate to a supported platform as soon as possible. If you need extended support or assistance migrating, contact EDB Customer Success at customersuccess@enterprisedb.com.

- PostgreSQL 17: September 2024
- EDB Postgres Extended (PGE) Server 17 & EDB Postgres Advanced Server (EPAS) 17: November 2024
- Support for v12 ends: December 9th, 2024 (5 years after initial support)
